One of the highlights of my last semester at U.Va this spring was having my work published on Thought Catalogue. In my piece entitled, “The Authenticity and Deceptiveness of Fashion at a Southern College” I simply pointed out the obvious; for the most part students at U.Va dress the same, and it’s boring and overrated. I get it we all want to fit in, we all want to be “cool kids” yada yada, but maybe you should switch it up, and try being yourself for a change. Very trill that Thought Catalogue went ahead and published my first submission. Check it!
